Thumbs up, thumbs down
WALT: Give the comment either a thumbs up or a thumbs down.
For this task, I needed to read through each of the comments and decide whether I think it deserves a thumbs up or thumbs down. My favourite part about this was reading the comments and thinking whether it was a good comment or not a good comment. Maybe next I could write why I think it should have a thumbs up or thumbs down.
Maths word problems
WALT: Solve maths word problems.
For this task, I needed to read the word problems, write down the equation, show my working out, and write my answer. My favourite part about this was using place value partitioning. Maybe next time I could use a different strategy for working out the equations.

Nonrenewable energy sources
WALT: Increase our knowledge by reading a wide range of texts (Article a day - Book of Knowledge)
For this task, I needed to read an article about Nonrenewable energy sources and I had to write down two things I learned in my book of knowledge. I enjoyed reading this because I got to learn a lot from the article. Maybe next time I could write more about what I learned.

The Kina
WALT: Write 100 words in 10 minutes.
For this task, I needed to write 100 words or over in ten minutes and choose any topic and I went with a story about a kina. My favourite part making this was writing my own sentences and making the story a little more interesting. Maybe next time I could explain more about the ending of the story.
Once upon a time in Shipwreck Bay, New Zealand, there was a kina that was never noticed. He saw all his friends being taken out the water but people never noticed him so he would just sit under the seaweed waiting for someone to pick him.
The kina was slowly getting sad, but just as he thought no one was going to pick him and he thought he would always be alone, he saw a hand reaching down from the water moving towards him. But then all of a sudden he felt like he was being pulled up out of the water and thought he was about to be free. Until he was dropped and sunk to the bottom of the deep lonely rock pool.
How many tens there are in numbers?
WAL: How many tens there are in numbers
For this task, I needed to know how many tens there are in numbers and write down the answers in the opposite boxes e.g 491 has 49 tens. I enjoyed writing down my answers and finding out the numbers. Maybe next time I could make the picture more clear to see.

Positive, thoughtful, and helpful comments
WALT: Understand what a Storyboard is.
For this task, I had to create a storyboard talking about positive, thoughtful, and helpful comments. My favourite part about this task was creating this storyboard and putting all the images in and placing in the speech bubbles. Maybe next time I could include different sentence starters for when you want to write a positive, thoughtful, helpful comment.
